Give to a forest in need in their memory Let the family know you are thinking of them Alan E. Meyer of Surprise, Arizona passed away at the age of 79. He was born in Kearny, New Jersey, and grew up in Manasquan, New Jersey. Alan graduated from Rider College as a Certified Public Accountant. He was employed as a CPA and had a degree in Accredited Business Valuation.

He was a partner emeritus at WS+B in New Jersey. Alan started his career with Coopers Lybrand, then co-founded his own CPA firm in Ocean County which later merged to form Hutchins Farrell Meyer & Allison, and then joined WS+B. Alan was a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International, and Past-President of the United Way of Ocean County, New Jersey.

Alan was on the Board of Directors at The Grand for several years serving as Treasurer for some of those years and then served on several other committees at Grand. He was preceded in death by his parents, John, and Irene Meyer. Alan will be greatly missed by his beloved Wife, Debbie; Children, Mandy, Steven, David, Richard; Brother, Jack and wife Carol; Grandchildren, Drew, Chloe, Billy, Steve; and Great-Grandchildren, Ryker and Amelia. One of his friends remembered a story in which Al said of his children, "That he had three sons and a daughter, one son is adopted, and one was stepchild, but he couldn't remember which one".

He loved them all equally. The family would like to thank Mike and Richard, Nurses at the Banner Del Webb for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days. If you were lucky enough to know Al, consider it a blessing and pass on his memory with good deeds in his honor. Anyone should contribute to their favorite charity in his honor. A celebration of life will scheduled later.
