SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--Five student-athletes were selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) to the 2022-23 At-Large Academic All-District team. Augustana was represented by wrestling, men's golf and women's golf on the all-district team. Jaxson Rohman , Wrestling Rohman, from Trimont, Minnesota, finished his sophomore season with a 20-7 record, All-American honors and a second place finish at the NCAA DII National Championship tournament.
In addition to CSC Academic All-District honors, Rohman was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and garnered NWCA Division II Scholar All-America honors. Will Allen , Men's Golf Allen, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, competed in 11 events in 23 rounds of golf during the 2022-23 season and was named to the NSIC All-Conference Second team.
He averaged 76.17 strokes per round and his highest finish came at the Hardrocker Invite where he placed third. Allen had four top-10 finishes and two top-five finishes this season. Shannon McCormick , Women's Golf McCormick, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, competed in 26 events and 12 rounds of gold this season.
She had a 78.12 stroke average in 2022-23. McCormick also helped her team to a second place finish at the NCAA Central Region Championships and a trip to the NCAA National tournament. Molly Stevens , Women's Golf Stevens, from Northfield, Minnesota, is coming off of the 2022-23 season that saw her named the NSIC Golfer of the Year for the second season in a row.
Stevens was named First Team All-NSIC. earned NSIC All-Tournament honors, tied for second at the NSIC Championships with a three round total of 229 and helped Augustana to its third straight and 12th overall NSIC Championship. This season, Stevens had 10 top-10 finishes, eight top-5 and three medalist honors.
She also helped her team to a second place finish at the NCAA Central Region Championships and a trip to the NCAA National tournament. Lauren Tims , Women's Golf Tims, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, finished the regular season with one first place finish, six top-five finishes and seven top-10 finishes.
Her stroke average on the season is 77.04 and she has a career stroke average of 78.89. Tims also helped her team to a second place finish at the NCAA Central Region Championships and a trip to the NCAA National tournament. The Division II and III CSC Academic All‐America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022‐23 Divisions II and III Academic All‐ America® programs.
