Tracy Lynn (Kolb) Griebler, age 29 of Broomfield, Colorado and formerly of Hulett, Wyoming and Spearfish, South Dakota, passed away Monday August 21, 2023, at Denver Hospice in Denver, Colorado. She fought a nearly year-long battle with brain cancer. Tracy was born February 11, 1994, in Englewood, Colorado to Alan and Roberta Kolb.

She was home-schooled and attended private school through the eighth grade and graduated from Spearfish High School in 2012. Tracy attended the University of Wyoming and Black Hills State University, where she earned an accounting degree in 2016. After graduating from college, Tracy worked for Black Hills Corp in Rapid City, South Dakota, Devils Tower Golf Club in Hulett and, until the time of her illness, was employed by the City of Spearfish as Assistant Finance Officer. In 2018, Tracy married Brice Griebler, and in August of 2020 they welcomed their daughter, Zephyr Lynn. Tracy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Spearfish and Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Thornton, Colorado.

Her faith was in Jesus, trusting in Him alone as the only way to eternal life in heaven. Tracy is survived by her husband, Brice Griebler and daughter, Zephyr; parents, Alan and Roberta Kolb; siblings, Kevin Kolb and Lorie Kolb; grandparents, Richard and Eunice Peck; and grandfather, Walter Kolb; aunts and uncles, Theodora and Joel Larson, Rich and Trish Peck, Perry and Becky Kolb, Kristie and Troy Nedved; cousins, Jessie Sanchez, Jill Peck, Shelly Peck, Kimberly Plaggemeyer, Corey Peck, Jada Peck, Haylee Peck, Ted Larson, Duane Larson, Jordan Kolb, Grant Kolb, Haleigh Nytroe and Riley Nedved; mother-in-law, Theresia Griebler; sister-in-law, Lindsay Griebler and husband, Oscar Solis. Tracy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jeannette Kolb; father-in-law, Earl Griebler; and infant cousin, Amy Lynn Peck. Funeral service was held Tuesday September 5, 2023, at the Spearfish City Park Pavilion with Pastor Mark Schutz of Hope Lutheran Church officiating.

Committal service followed at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish. Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapels and Isburg Crematory of Spearfish. Online condolences may be written at http://www.fidler-isburgfuneralchapels.com
