The tour will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 1989 film. DC In Concert, a new film concert series, will launch a national tour in 2024 celebrating the 35th anniversary of the 1989 film Batman, directed by Tim Burton. Attendees will see the film accompanied by Danny Elfman's Grammy-nominated score played by a live orchestra.
Batman was the third collaboration between Burton and Elfman, and "The Batman Theme" won Elfman a Grammy award for Best Instrumental Composition. The tour will launch January 13, 2024 in Los Angeles, after which stops are planned in Washington, D.C. (January 19); Tampa, Florida (January 20); Jacksonville, Florida (January 21); San Antonio, Texas (January 27); Atlanta, Georgia (February 2); Conway, Arkansas (February 3); Flint, Michigan (February 24); Newark, New Jersey (March 2); Orlando, Florida (March 9); Portland, Oregon (March 30); and Kansas City, Missouri (April 24); before making international stops in Paris (May 24) and London (May 26). The Batman Live Concert tour is produced by TCG Entertainment, in conjunction with Warner Bros.
