As Tampa Police Detectives investigate a commercial burglary, they are asking our community to review this video and help them identify the two suspects involved. On August 18, 2023, at approximately 12:00 a.m., the suspects entered Karma Nest Tampa Hotel located at 3001 University Center Dr. The suspects gained access to a space within the hotel that was undergoing renovations and forcefully entered a smaller room where they stole various construction tools. One suspect is believed to be a Hispanic male of a larger build who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark-colored shorts.
The female was last seen wearing a long-sleeve dark-colored shirt, dark shorts, and a hat. Detectives have been gathering evidence and developing leads in this case. Anyone with information that could assist in identifying the suspects involved in the burglary is asked to call Tampa Police at 813-231-6130.
