LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball program announced its 2023 fall schedule, featuring games on six dates including the annual Big Blue Boo on October 20 at John Cropp Stadium against the Miami RedHawks. The Wildcats will open the fall on Sept. 17 against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels at 1 p.m.
ET in one of five home games of the fall slate. The next week will see Kentucky host Parkland College before the September run of games closes at 6 p.m. ET against Georgetown College in Lexington. October will see UK host Lipscomb on the first of the month before a trip up to South Bend, Indiana to face off against Notre Dame and Illinois-Chicago in a multi-team event hosted by Notre Dame on Oct.
8. The 2023 fall season will wrap up on Oct. 20 against the Miami (OH) RedHawks in Kentucky’s annual Big Blue Boo game. This year’s edition will again have free admission for fans with treats, games, prizes, costume contests and more. The game will be broadcasted live on the SEC Network+ and the ESPN app with both teams agreeing to play the game with seven true innings and legal substitution patterns.
