USC basketball has offered four-star shooting guard Jerry Easter II out of Toledo, Ohio. Eastern is currently ranked as the 11th-best shooting guard and the No. 3-ranked player in Ohio. Standing at 6-5 and 190 pounds, Easter possesses a pure shooting stroke and is an offensive threat whenever he has the ball.
He can also handle the rock and is very good in space, while his relentless work ethic makes him a perfect fit for coach Andy Enfield’s system. Other prominent programs that reached out to Easter included: Michigan State, Texas A&M, Cincinnati, Indiana, Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio State, and UCLA, among others. This season’s USC backcourt is expected to be one of the best in the country.
USC has historically been a frontcourt-oriented team under Andy Enfield, but this season’s team will change that dynamic with Isaiah Collier and Boogie Ellis powering the team. Will USC continue to be backcourt-dominant in the near future? This recruitment might shape the answer. This content is not available due to your privacy preferences.
