Activision Blizzard has appointed Natalya Tatarchuk as its new chief technology officer, following the departure of former CEO Bobby Kotick. Tatarchuk previously served as the head of graphics at Unity Technologies and worked on franchises such as "Destiny" and "Halo" at Bungie Inc. She will oversee technology goals for all Activision games, including the "Call of Duty" franchise. Michael Vance, who helped develop many of the games in the "Call of Duty" series, will stay on as a software engineer. Microsoft, which acquired Activision in October 2021, has not yet announced a replacement for Kotick but has made several leadership changes that will be implemented over the next few months.
