A A+ A++ A+++
A new four-acre city park, Dahlgren Family Park, is set to open in North Bend with support from the City Council, Department of Natural Resources, and funding from the State Recreation and Conservation Office. The park will offer various amenities such as mountain viewing, pickleball, volleyball, playgrounds, picnicking, and walking trails. It will also feature a canoe play structure painted with Tribal imagery by Snoqualmie Tribal Artist Bethany Fackrell. The project received funding from the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program Grant and leveraged park impact fee revenue for broader improvements. The park will officially open on June 28 with some features still being completed by contractors.
