New Evergreen Impact Housing Fund, GMD Development Project Watershed Brings 145 Affordable Housing Units to Seattle Area

The Watershed apartment community, a project by the Evergreen Impact Housing Fund (EIHF) and GMD Development, has opened to provide affordable housing for families earning 50-60% of King County’s median income. The development includes spacious two- and three-bedroom units, with 20% designated for larger families. Various partners, including Microsoft and the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, collaborated to make this project possible. Microsoft has pledged $50 million to support affordable housing in the region. The strategic location of Watershed near essential services and transportation aims to meet the needs of working families. The grand opening ceremony celebrated the completion of the project, which is fully leased, with more developments expected in the future.
