Seattle International Film Festival lineup, tributes, more

The 50th Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) will showcase 261 films from 84 countries/regions, including features, documentaries, archival films, special tributes, and short films. Notable events include honoring actress Jean Smart with The Hollywood Reporter’s Trailblazer Award and presenting June Squibb with the Golden Space Needle Award for Outstanding Contribution to Cinema. The festival will feature screenings at various venues across Seattle from May 9-19, with tickets available for purchase starting April 18. Special events, Q&A sessions, and after-parties are planned throughout the festival, culminating in a Closing Night party on May 18.
