Arbor Day Celebration and Spring Compost Fair

The Arbor Day Celebration and Spring Compost Fair will be held at the John A. Finch Arboretum on April 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Spokane County residents can learn about composting from Master Composters/Recyclers at the event. Participants can engage in hands-on composting activities and learn about different composting strategies, bin types, and pile maintenance. Residents may receive a free compost bin after completing the activity stations (limited to one per household with proof of residence). The event is supported by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology and organized by the Spokane County Regional Solid Waste System.
