The USPS has postponed its plan to consolidate Missoula's Processing and Distribution Center by relocating outgoing mail processing to Spokane, Washington. This decision follows a demand from US Senators Jon Tester and Steve Daines to halt the facility review and restore services. Senator Tester's Office announced the delay on May 13 in a press release.
