Where local baseball stars are playing as MiLB season begins

Local baseball players are making waves in the Minor League Baseball season. Cole Carrigg, a former Turlock High graduate, has been promoted to High-A Spokane by the Colorado Rockies after a strong 2023 campaign. Tyler Soderstrom, another Turlock High alum and Oakland Athletics player, is aiming for a return to the big leagues after being sent to Triple-A Las Vegas. Kade Morris, a Pitman High graduate, made an impressive pitching debut for Single-A St. Lucie Mets with a shutout performance against the Jupiter Hammerheads.
