Finch Arboretum Hosts Free Arbor Day Festivities Saturday

The Finch Arboretum in Spokane, Washington, is hosting a free Arbor Day celebration on April 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature family activities, live music, tree care demonstrations, environmental education, free seedlings, and more. Highlights include composting workshops, free tree seedlings, a raffle for prizes including trees donated by Blue Moon Garden and Nursery, arts and crafts projects, disc golf, live music by Dario Re, and complimentary snacks provided by local vendors. The arboretum serves as an outdoor classroom with over 2,000 trees and shrubs representing various species from around the world. This event is sponsored by Bartlett Tree Experts and aims to celebrate Spokane's designation as a Tree City USA for the 21st year.
