The Seattle Kraken will shift their games to an over-the-air broadcaster and partner with Amazon's Prime Video starting from the 2024-25 season. This move makes them the first NHL team to have a streaming deal with Prime Video for non-nationally televised games, available to Amazon Prime members in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. The team will work with TEGNA for over-the-air broadcasts, primarily on KONG-TV in Seattle, with some games airing on KING and other TEGNA-owned stations. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy has a minority stake in the Kraken's ownership group. Additionally, the NHL announced a two-year agreement with Prime Video to exclusively broadcast Monday night NHL games in Canada for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
