The Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision in Kootenai County, Idaho. The incident occurred on State Highway 53 near mile post 5, involving a Ford Bronco and a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Ford Bronco, a 25-year-old male from Post Falls, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, resulting in his death. The driver of the Toyota Camry, a 24-year-old female from Spokane Valley, Washington, was wearing her seatbelt and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The crash led to a road closure for about 2 hours as investigations continue.
