Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle collision that occurred on southbound Interstate 15 in Bannock County. The collision involved a Kenworth tractor pulling one trailer and a Freightliner tractor pulling a trailer. The Freightliner failed to yield to slowing traffic and collided with the Kenworth. A passenger in the Kenworth was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to a local hospital. Southbound I-15 was blocked for three hours to assist those involved and clear the scene.
