On 02/20/2024, a traffic stop in Post Falls, Idaho led to the discovery of over 150 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia in a vehicle. The driver, Thomas R. Nicholas from Spokane Valley, was arrested for possession charges, while the passenger, Kane M. Heaton from Otis Orchards, was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine and possession charges. The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office acknowledged the assistance of the Post Falls Police Department in this case.
