The community is invited to attend a meeting on February 15, 2024, to discuss the Make Beacon Hill Public Phase II plan. The meeting will be held at the Liberty Park Library and virtually via Zoom. The project aims to improve the existing trailheads at John H. Shields Park and Camp Sekani Park, including increased parking, landscape restoration, pedestrian pathways, play areas, and more. This meeting is the last opportunity for public engagement before construction begins later in 2024. The meeting is hosted by City of Spokane Parks & Recreation and Spokane County Parks, Recreation & Golf.
