At least 6 suicide attempts at Tacoma ICE facility, 911 calls show

The records indicate that some detainees made multiple attempts within a short period, with one case suggesting a seventh attempt not documented in the received records. Staff at the detention center reported distressing incidents involving detainees from various countries attempting suicide, highlighting concerning mental health challenges faced by individuals in immigration detention.
