Reno’s Staff Strikes Out 15, Struggles to Get Bats Rolling in 5-2 Loss to Tacoma

The Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Reno Aces 5-2 in a baseball game at Cheney Stadium. Dallas Keuchel led the Rainiers' pitching staff, while Humberto Castellanos struggled for the Aces. The Aces' bullpen performed well, striking out 11 batters over 6 2/3 innings. Pavin Smith contributed with an RBI single, but Reno's offense couldn't overcome Tacoma's strong pitching. The series continues with Jordan Montgomery scheduled to start for the Aces in the next game. The Aces will face the Tacoma Rainiers again on April 13th before returning home for a series against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys.
