Julie Stimpson Lewis, a native of East Wenatchee, will be honored at the All Service Club & Community Luncheon and serve as Grand Marshal in the Stemilt Grand Parade. She is known for her resilience after contracting AIDS from an HIV-infected blood transfusion in 1984 and has since dedicated herself to helping others through initiatives like the 30/30 Project. Her memoir, "Still Positive," was released in May 2023.
West Mathison, President/CEO of Stemilt Orchards, will be recognized as the 2024 Apple Citizen of the Year. Jen Mueller, an Emmy award-winning sports broadcaster from Seattle, will deliver keynote remarks at the luncheon.
