A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of central, east central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Minnesota from 7 AM to 7 PM CDT Tuesday. East winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Gusty winds may cause unsecured objects to be blown around, tree limbs could fall, and power outages may occur. Winds could exceed 55 mph during heavier showers or weak thunderstorms. Drivers, especially those in high profile vehicles, should exercise caution due to difficult driving conditions.
