Fuentes scored 26 points and made a crucial steal at the end of the game to secure the win. The Trinity Christian women's soccer team lost 2-1 in the first round of the NAIA championship. The Saint Xavier cross country team had four runners compete in the NAIA meet, with Isaac Systma finishing 180th in the men's race and Daniella Nino finishing 244th in the women's race. The Morton College men's basketball team started their season with a 3-0 record, while the women's team won their 45th consecutive home game.
