F-15 Eagle fighter jets to fly over Salem and Mt. Angel on Memorial Day

The 142nd Wing from Portland Air National Guard Base will conduct F-15 Eagle fighter jet flyovers for Memorial Day ceremonies at various locations in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington, including Salem and Mt. Angel. The flyovers will be at approximately 1,000 feet above ground level and 400 mph airspeed. Lt. Col. Brad Young expressed support for honoring fallen service members through these flyovers. The schedule includes 16 community locations with designated times on Monday morning, subject to weather or operational changes.
