Aranza Lopez, a girl kidnapped from a Washington state mall in 2018 at the age of four, has been found alive in Mexico at the age of eight. Her mother was arrested in Mexico in 2019, and Aranza was located in Michoacán, Mexico, in February. The FBI and partners were persistent in their search for her. Aranza has been returned to the US for reintegration. Her mother received a prison sentence for kidnapping and custodial interference after fleeing with her daughter during a supervised visit at the mall.
