Pounds of fentanyl, meth seized from Vancouver stash house

Two men, Juan Onofre Flores Carrillo and Jesus Daniel Valenzuela Ayala, were arrested in Vancouver, Washington after a year-long undercover drug investigation. Carillo was identified as a significant fentanyl dealer who sold thousands of fentanyl pills and methamphetamine to informants. He also sold high-powered firearms. Carillo agreed to sell 10,000 fentanyl pills to an informant and was arrested during the transaction. Law enforcement found a stash house with large quantities of narcotics and weapons, leading to the arrest of Valenzuela Ayala. Both men are Mexican citizens without legal status in the US. Carillo faces multiple charges related to drug distribution and firearm use, while Valenzuela Ayala is charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics and possession of drugs with intent to distribute. Drug trafficking carries severe penalties including a minimum of 10 years up to life in prison, while possessing firearms in connection with drug trafficking has a mandatory minimum sentence of five years.
