an Air Quality Alert for Ground Level Ozone, from 11 AM to 11 PM EDT
Wednesday.

An Air Quality Alert means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations
within the region may approach or exceed levels that are Unhealthy
for Sensitive Groups.

Air is unhealthy for sensitive children and adults, such as those
with asthma, lung or heart disease, and older adults. Sensitive
children and adults should limit prolonged outdoor activity.

Special Weather Statement issued March 20 at 7:32PM EDT

Alert Icon Weather Alerts

At 729 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an intense line of gusty
showers along a line extending from near Rindge to near North
Brookfield to Tolland. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph and reduced visibility as rain changes
to brief snow showers. An occasional lightning strike is
possible.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could cause minor damage such as downed
branches.

Locations impacted include...
Boston, Worcester, Providence, Lowell, Cambridge, Newton, Warwick,
Cranston, Lawrence, Somerville, Pawtucket, Framingham, Haverhill,
Waltham, Malden, Brookline, Medford, Methuen, East Providence, and
Arlington.
