The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has
declared Thursday June 20th to be an action day for elevated levels
of ozone. Pollutants are expected to be in the Unhealthy for
Sensitive Groups range.

The action day is in effect for the following Michigan counties...

St. Clair...Livingston...Oakland...Macomb...Washtenaw...Wayne and
Monroe.

It is recommended that, when possible, you avoid strenuous outdoor
activities, especially those with respiratory diseases such as
asthma. People and businesses are urged to avoid activities which
can lead to ozone formation. These activities include: refueling
vehicles or topping off when refueling, using gasoline powered
lawn equipment, using charcoal lighter fluid.

Positive activities include: driving less, telecommuting, walking
or bike riding, delaying or combining errands, using water-based
paints.

Southeast Michigan this morning. The rain will diminish to light
rain or drizzle this afternoon. Cloud to ground lightning will be
the main hazard with any thunderstorm this morning.

Winter Weather Advisory issued February 15 at 3:52AM EST until February 15 at 1:00PM EST

* WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3
inches.

* WHERE...Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston,
Oakland and Macomb Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow remains possible along and north
of the I-69 corridor through the mid morning hours with
widespread coverage then expected between 7 AM to 1 PM. Light
wet snowfall is favored as the main precipitation type, but
periods of sleet and some rain will be possible. Wind gusts
increase to 30-40 mph during the afternoon and evening, after
snowfall has ended.

Winter Weather Advisory issued January 22 at 3:48PM EST until January 23 at 4:00PM EST

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Snow accumulations of up to 4
inches and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee
and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel. The hazardous conditions are
expected to impact the evening commute today and the morning
commute tomorrow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Intervals of a light wintry mix including
freezing rain, freezing drizzle, snow, and sleet will continue
through the evening hours. Precipitation intensity then
increases toward midnight through the morning. Snow and sleet
will be most likely for the M-59 corridor through the morning
with some heavy snow possible at times. From Ann Arbor to
Detroit and south, a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is
more likely until temperatures rise above freezing early to mid
afternoon. The heaviest wintry precip rates are likely between
12 AM and 2 PM.
