Key PointsWell, it looks like it's finally going to snow.
We look forward to the snow every year. Aside from being beautiful and serene, the snowfall in the NW seems to put everything into a time freeze, where everything that was going on seems to stop for a brief period and the only activities that seem to be relevant are staying inside watching the snow or playing outside in it. Our kids love doing both.
We live in a rural area where there are plenty of hills to sled on and trails to walk thru.
The only thing that isn't fun about the snow is being on the roads. It seems like many people totally forget how to drive in the snow or maybe haven't ever. There are more strange accidents during the snowfall periods than ever.
I hope that this year's snowfall is as long as it has been the last couple of years - that would be awesome!
