* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington,
including the following counties, in northwest Washington,
Clallam, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason, San Juan,
Skagit and Whatcom. In west central Washington, King, Lewis,
Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston.

* WHEN...From 10 PM PST this evening through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding
of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Excessive rainfall from a long-duration atmospheric river
event. Total liquid accumulation through Wednesday of next
week will range from 3 to 6 inches over the lowlands to
upwards of 9 to 12 inches over the Cascades and 10 to 15
inches over the Olympics.

* WHERE...Cascade mountains of Whatcom and Skagit Counties,
including the Mount Baker Ski Area, the Cascade mountains of
Snohomish and King Counties, including Stevens and Snoqualmie
Pass, and the Cascade mountains of Pierce and Lewis Counties,
including the Crystal Mountain Ski Area and Paradise on Mount
Rainier.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

Excessive Heat Warning issued August 14 at 12:29PM PDT until August 15 at 11:00PM PDT

* WHAT...For the Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot
conditions with daytime temperatures in the mid to upper 90s and
lows in the 60s and 70s expected in the Cascade Valleys. This
will pose a more widespread major risk of heat-related illness.

* WHERE...West Slopes North Cascades and Passes, West Slopes
North Central Cascades and Passes and West Slopes South
Central Cascades and Passes.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Major Heat Risk level poses a major risk for heat-
related illnesses for anyone without effective cooling or
adequate hydration.
