Nanafalia has a population of 32. 43.8% of Nanafalia’s inhabitants are Male, and 56.3 are female. 87.5% of Nanafalia is married and 100% own their own home. Nanafalia’s Ethnic is the following: Black(62.5%), White(37.5%).
Nanafalia is in southwestern Marengo County, along Alabama State Route 10. State Route 69 forms the western border of the CDP. Linden, the county seat, is 21 miles (34 km) to the northeast. The Nanafalia CDP has an area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2), all land. The community is on a flat-topped ridge which drains north to South Double Creek and south to an unnamed tributary of Horse Creek.
Both named creeks flow west to the Tombigbee River.
