There were 600 households, of which 29.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.8% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.8% were non-families. 30.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
The average household size was 2.37 and the average family size was 2.91. 24.3% of the population were under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 24.9% from 25 to 44, 21.5% from 45 to 64, and 21.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females, there were 91.4 males.
For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.0 males. The median household income was $37,961 and the median family income was $48,092. Males had a median income of $31,569 and females $22,902. The per capita income was $19,205. About 4.8% of families and 6.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 5.8% of those under age 18 and 6.4% of those age 65 or over.
