New Mexico State Road 337 passes through the community, leading northwest 19 miles (31 km) to Tijeras and Interstate 40, and south 10 miles (16 km) to NM 55 east of Tajique. According to the United States Census Bureau, the Chilili CDP has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all land.
