New Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders has assembled a pretty impressive group of assistants.

A few of my early favorites? Defensive coordinator/safeties coach Charles Kelly comes to Boulder as an elite recruiter, OC/quarterbacks coach Sean Lewis should completely reboot the Buffs’ offense and tight ends coach Tim Brewster made headlines with his no-nonsense attitude.

I’m also looking forward to watching cornerbacks coach Kevin Mathis develop Cormani McClain.
