Kim E. Hendrix, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandpa, cousin and friend passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. He was born in Japan at the Johnson Air Force Base on December 20, 1956 to Kenneth Edward Hendrix and Martha (Hoefler) Hendrix.

Kim is a 1975 Chanute High School graduate where he excelled in sports and met his lifetime sweetheart, Betsy. Kim became a part of the Ottawa University family making lifelong friends as well as playing and achieving success in football. He graduated in 1979 with a BA in Psychology ... Read more

TOPEKA – Kansas Tourism has announced the 2024 Sunflower Summer program will be open for Kansas families on Saturday, May 25. Designed for Kansas students and their families, the Sunflower Summer program provides complimentary access to over 220 tourism attractions across the state. The 2024 Sunflower Summer season will run through August 11.
