Eyvonne D. Crase, 91, died Monday, June 10, 2024, at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born October 12, 1932, in Hillsboro, Kansas, the daughter of David & Eva (Janzen) Krause.

Eyvonne moved with her family to Deerfield, Kansas when she was a child. She attended Deerfield schools where she graduated from Deerfield High School. WICHITA, Kansas — Lindsay Strader says she began to feel the effects of surgery’s gender imbalance as a resident.

“I felt frustrated, but I didn’t have any kind of resource that I could go to,” she said. “There just wasn’t that kind of infrastructure at the time.”
