York County company receives $70+ million contract from U.S. Marine Corps

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — The York-based BAE Systems recently announced that it received a $79 million contract with the U.S. Marine Corps.

According to BAE Systems, which offers a wide array of the “world’s most advanced, technology-led defense, aerospace, and security solutions” was awarded the contract to build and deliver production representative test vehicles (PRTVs) for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle Recovery (ACV-R) variant later this year.
