Honey Grove, Texas -- The Honey Grove Lady Warriors only trailed for a total of two minutes Tuesday afternoon in a blowout against the James Bowie Lady Pirates. The Lady Warriors came into the contest after posting a 4-1 record in the Big Green Tournament last week in Valley View, with the only loss coming at the hands of the # 7 ranked Dodd City Hornets.

DODD CITY, Texas (KXII) - This week’s A+ Athlete is Lindsey Mauppin of Dodd City High School.

Lindsey is a straight A student with a 4.0 GPA and is ranked number one her class. She’s a member of National Honors Society, takes concurrent courses and has been on the A honor roll for her entire high school career.
