Vermont's The Putney School was ranked as one of the most influential private high schools in the U.S., coming in at number 27.
The website Academic Influence ranked schools according to the impact their alumni have had since graduation. The site created a list of the top 50, and the 75-year old Putney, Vermont, school, a part of the "progressive school movement," made the list.
