Letter: Can America continue under a “divided house?”

Our Gospel reading on a recent Sunday was taken from Mark 3:20-35. What got me thinking were versus 24 and 25. “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.”

(SPRINGFIELD) An industry group says the Biden administration’s new staffing regulations for long-term care facilities are unrealistic. While the mandate requires that all nursing homes that receive Medicare and Medicaid funding provide a total of at least 3.48 hours of nursing care per resident, per day, the nursing homes must also have a registered nurse onsite at all times, around the clock.
