DNC to pay only part of first lady's Paris-Delaware Trip for son's trial, remaining balance of $200K

Taxpayers will reportedly pay most of first lady Jill Biden's trip last week from Paris to Wilmington, Delaware, to attend Hunter Biden’s trial.

The first lady left June 6 and returned June 7 to resume her official duties during D-Day commemorations.

The government pays for U.S. officials flying on official business, but personal, unofficial travel must reimbursed.

WILMINGTON, Delaware (Reuters) - The legal team that voided Elon Musk's record Tesla pay package deserves a tiny fraction of the $5.6 billion legal fee they requested because their lawsuit provided almost no benefit for the company, the electric automaker argued in court papers on Friday.
