The puppies were found just before 3 a.m. on Monday in a dog crate in the backyard of a property near the Anthony Wayne Trail and South Avenue, according to police.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Officials with the Toledo Police Department say at least one person was shot near a Toledo bar in the early morning on Saturday, June 8.

Officers say one woman was shot in a parking lot near Chasers Bar on the 3400 block of Dorr Street sometime around 1:30 a.m. Officials say she was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries but is in stable condition.
