The puppies were found just before 3 a.m. on Monday in a dog crate in the backyard of a property near the Anthony Wayne Trail and South Avenue, according to police.

Boat, camper destroyed in Point Place fire

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A boat and a camper were destroyed in a Point Place fire Friday evening.

According to officials on the scene, the owner was charging up appliances in a camper as they prepared for a weekend trip. The refrigerator overheated and started sparking which started a fire.

The fire spread to the owner’s boat due to wind in the area. Officials said both are a total loss.
