Soldotna man arrested for outstanding warrants

Soldotna, Alaska (KINY) - On Tuesday afternoon, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence off Tote Rd. in Soldotna to contact a male with outstanding warrants.

Upon arrival, the man was located and ran on foot.

Following a short foot pursuit, 35-year-old Lanny Luke Perrill of Soldotna, was apprehended and arrested on two outstanding arrest warrants for violating conditions of release (for a felony) and a petition to revoke probation ($10,000 bail).

After experiencing travel delays, Capital City Basketball Tournament begins

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Capital City Basketball Tournament was pushed back a day as some teams were delayed in their travels due to the weather, but games are scheduled now for Wednesday.
