Florida man justifies killing his mother for being ‘possessed by demons’

A Miami man has been charged with second-degree murder after police say he killed his mother Tuesday night in the city’s The Rhodes neighborhood.

According to a police report, a woman told police that the victim’s daughter called that day to inform her that she could not reach her mother or her brother, John Calhoun Tucker III, 54, by phone .

The history of Dawson Distillery is rooted in the foothills outside Leighton, Alabama, where spring water has long flowed. That water, which flows through and is filtered by limestone just like Kentucky bourbon is, becomes Dawson’s moonshine. Moonshine in modern times mostly means unaged corn whiskey.
