Viola Teen Injured in Rollover Crash near West PlainsOzark Radio News

West Plains, MO. – A Viola, Arkansas teen is receiving medical treatment after being in a crash that caused her vehicle to overturn. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 8:45 p.m. on US 160, three miles west of West Plains on Monday night.

A westbound 2000 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 17-year old girl traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a sign and overturning. The teen had been wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries in the crash. The driver was taken by ambulance ... Read more

A couple, who were executives of a Springfield-based charity, have been sentenced for embezzlement and bribery.

Tommy and Bonita Goss were executives with Preferred Family Healthcare, a charity which operated in five states including Missouri and Arkansas.

Some elected officials in Arkansas provided favors for the charity in exchange for bribes and kickbacks.

Tommy Goss was sentenced to six-year sentence and Bonita was sentenced to three years, as well as being ordered to pay over 4-million dollars in rest ... Read more
