Report: Cavaliers nearing buyout with veteran Kevin Love after benching, Heat expected favorites

Kevin Love’s time in Cleveland, it seems, is nearing an end.

The Cavaliers and Love are finalizing a contract buyout, The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Jason Lloyd reported Wednesday. Love was pulled from the Cavaliers’ rotation in recent weeks.

While the buyout is not yet finalized, the Miami Heat are apparently the favorites to sign the veteran forward.
