Former Border Patrol Agent Sentenced to More Than 12 Years on Bribery, Firearms, and Narcotics Charg

TUCSON, Ariz. – Ramon Antonio Monreal-Rodriguez, 36, of Vail, Arizona, was sentenced on December 14, by United States District Judge James A. Soto, to 152 months in prison and ordered to pay $151,000 in restitution to the U.S. Border Patrol for salary drawn while engaged in criminal activity. Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum closed for the day following fox infiltration

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum on Tucson's west side is closed today after two foxes got through the museum's perimeter fence and roamed around.

Arizona Game & Fish Department said one of the foxes attacked, but did not injure, a staffer.

The foxes were euthanized after a brief search and are being tested for rabies.

The museum told KGUN 9 they are taking precautions since there have been cases of foxes with rabies in the area.
